The Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) was launched in 2007 as a voluntary code by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency for effecting energy efficiency in buildings. ECBC establishes minimum energy standards for commercial buildings having a connected load of 100 kW or contract demand of 120 KVA and above.
